What does “beta” mean?

You’re getting early access to the app before it’s in the app stores. This means:

  • ✅ All core features work
  • ⚠️ You might encounter bugs — please report them!
  • 📬 We’ll release updates every 2-3 weeks with improvements
  • 🎯 Your feedback directly shapes the final product

Which app should I use?

📱 Mobile app (beta): Set your golfing goal and track your strokes gained data. This updates the web app with your playing stats

💻 Web app: Still best for detailed practice planning, accessing the full games library, adding stats data from 3rd party app and tracking practice sessions

You can use both — your data syncs from the native app to the web app, but web app data won’t appear in the native phone apps.

BxG Beta V 1.0.12 (Now Live)

The following features have been added for this version.

🎯 Set your golfing goal — Choose your target score (Break 100, 90, 80, 75…) and we’ll show you exactly what strokes gained you need in each area to reach it

📊 Automatic stats updates — Stats you track in the mobile app now sync to the web app automatically. No more manual entry!

🎨 Improved design — Cleaner interface, faster loading, better navigation

BxG V 1.0.11

This version has over 40,000 golf courses installed, allowing you to enter any course you play and receive golf stats based on how you play. Data is still stored locally on your phone, so be aware this will be lost with future updates.

Break X Golf Strokes Gained App Round

The app gives you traditional stats like:

  • Driving distance
  • Fairways hit in regulation
  • Greens hit in regulation
  • Up and down percentage
  • Putts per round

These are combined with strokes gained data for every area of your game. You can look at overall strokes-gained data, but where this becomes really useful is in how we break it down for you.

Within approach and putting we break down your strokes gained by distance and show you how many shots you are hitting from each distance. This shows you exactly the areas you need to practice and shows you the most common shots you face on the golf course (a good idea to practice these).

In short game, we take a similar approach, but also break down your strokes gained by lie (Sand, Rough, fairway). This is really useful for pinpointing your exact strengths and weaknesses around the green, so you can work on them.

There are a few more tweaks and bug fixes to improve the way it works across all Android and Apple devices.

A big shout-out to Jorge & Adam for their epic work building this.
