If you head to the ‘Dashboard’ tab at the top of your app you’ll now find a new toggle. This toggle allows you to switch from your practice dashboard to see your playing stats dashboard.
How to switch between practice and playing dashboards
What is displayed on your playing dashboard
Here you will see your basic stats displayed for each area of your game. The pink line shows your entire history for this metric. Above this you have your average metric on the left and your latest input on the right.
Finally, in the top right corner you have a thumbs up/down to signal if your are trending in the right direction.
What is planned for the future?
This is the 1st version of a playing stats dashboard for you all. We’ve started by showing basic stats, as from chatting to some of you fine golfers, we found almost 50% of you don’t currently use a stats app to track your on-course trends.
If this approach is useful for tracking your game over time we will add in similar charts for the rest of your basic stats and strokes gained data. Let us know in the comments below if this would be useful or any feedback.
What we’re working on next:
- Adding more metrics.
- Adding a filter so you can look at last 3, 5, 10 rounds.
Moving forwards we’re looking to make this ‘smarter’ – using the data to better suggest how you should practice, and the inverse of how your practice affects your play. This is exciting, but will take us some time.
For now, we hope you’re having a great golfing season, and please do leave any comments and feedback below.
